The New York State Technology Standard guides Stanley G. Falk School's programs in computer technology and industrial arts. All students are offered instruction in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. All grade levels have access to computers in each classroom, and each student is assigned a student server account. At the high school level, students may elect to enroll in a variety of technology classes, including Digital Photo/Video, Web Design, and Keyboarding. Students also have access to portable laptop labs for classroom instruction.
High school students have the opportunity to enroll in Industrial Arts, which focuses on building trades and carpentry. Students are instructed in the safe use of equipment and take an active part in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of a final project.
Stanley G. Falk School, a New York State Education Department-approved Special Day School, provides educational programming for students aged 5-21 years, who have special learning, social, and emotional needs.
